In the afterlife, spirits are known to communicate by way of different electronic devices...you all remember Carol Ann from the tv set...this is called Electronic Voice Phenomena or EVP.

When an audio device such as an voice recorder or cellular phone is left active in a silent area, it may occasionally pick up on dimensional static that can transfer the “sounds” created by a ghost in the spiritual realm. I can hear the voices pretty clear, but what in God's name is the background noise What did you use to record this?

The backround noise is what is more commonly known as the "Sound Floor". The Sound Floor is that slight hum you hear when listening to a cassette tape play. The audio was amplified so that there was no question to what you were hearing. Since the audio is amplifed so is the Sound Floor.
